What we collect
When you ask for a quote we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle registration, make and model, mileage, postcode and any message you add. We also keep the record of any work we carry out on your vehicle.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote, because you asked us to.
- To book in and carry out work you have agreed to, and to keep records for your warranty.
- To meet our legal obligations, for example keeping accounting records.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Enquiries are stored in our customer management system (LeadConnector), which holds them on our behalf so we can follow up your quote.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as we need them for warranty and legal purposes, normally six years.
Cookies
Some cookies are needed for the site to work, such as keeping the quote form secure. These are always on.
Analytics and advertising cookies, such as Google’s, help us understand how the site is used and measure our adverts. They are only used after you press “Okay” on the cookie notice; until then Google tags run in a cookieless, consent-denied mode. To withdraw your consent, clear this site’s cookies and stored data in your browser and the notice will appear again.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
